Specialty Camps Available

Sailing camp
$50  |  Grades 5-8
(Limited space available)

Camp Perkins is not located on the ocean, but beautiful Perkins Lake and the breeze that blows through the Stanley Basin make for a thrilling ride skirting over the water in a sailboat.

Sailing Camp is integrated with traditional Youth Camp, but during the optional activity time, sailing campers spend four afternoons on the lake learning the age-old skill of traversing the waves in a sailboat with the power of wind.

Participants will be led by trained and experienced instructors and must be competent swimmers and comfortable in deep water.
CLay CAMP
$30  |  Grades 5-8
(Limited to 12 campers)

Professional clay artist Angela Neiwert will help campers explore limitless possibilities with clay. Campers will dig and purify their own clay and make creations using their hands, the wheel, and a pit fire. Clayworks is integrated with traditional Youth Camp, but participants will spend the optional activity times using their creative spirit to explore the relationship between clay and the Potter. Campers should bring water shoes and swim suit for digging clay in the famous clay pits.

"Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."  - Isaiah 64:8
