Full-time: Program Ministry Team Member


Exciting opportunity to join our Program Ministry team in a full-time, year-round role

Position Summary: This position functions in an effective team ministry, working with the ministry's
executive leadership in the development and implementation of program and guest-related services for Camp Perkins. Though this is a team position, we are looking for the 2nd half of the team... with an emphasis on summer camp program development and management, as well as summer staff on-boarding, training, mentoring, coaching and more. 

Responsibilities include overseeing multiple on-site and off-site ministries; implementing age-specific programming with sound Biblical teaching; and directing recruitment, training, and evaluation of program staff. This position incorporates strong administrative, supervisory, organizational, and hospitality management roles.

This is a full‐time, year-round salaried position with benefits (medical, disability, & retirement) and on‐site room and board. The normal work week for this position includes working Friday through Sunday 3‐4 times per month from January‐March & August‐
October and may include weekends from May‐August.

Seasonal: Summer Staff High School Age Applicants 

High School students are invited to apply for any of the Camp Assistant positions listed above! This is a great opportunity to enhance your leadership skills while working along with our college age staff. Much of the CA's time is spent in the needed behind the scenes work in the kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance to be sure that each camper has an amazing experience at camp.

Seasonal: Summer Staff Positions 2021

Spend an unforgettable, life-changing summer serving with Camp Perkins! Summer Camp Staff positions are rewarding and challenging in ways that will engage you spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. There is no other job like it. Consider a summer of service engaging children and families in life-changing ways.

Staff Training for summer staff begins May 31, 2021. Summer staff duties are complete on August 15, 2021. Program staff must also attend program staff training beginning May 22, 2021. All staff will receive CPR/AED and First Aid training and will have the opportunity to attend an American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguarding course and Wilderness First Aid with WMI of NOLS. Salaries start at ~$200 for the summer for High School age staff and ~$250/week for college age staff. Salary increases are given for past experience.

Seasonal: Hospitality Assistants (August 2021)

Camp Perkins hires 2-3 college age or older individuals for fall, winter and spring seasonal employment. Length of employment can be variable. Hospitality Assistants work with the day-to-day operations of the camp during the fall, winter, and spring seasons and help to make guests as comfortable as possible. Responsibilities include housekeeping and food service, in addition to some maintenance, office, and program assistance as needed. This position requires flexibility and adaptability, and the ability to be a team player, a self-starter, and to function as a servant-leader. Benefits include full room and board on site, and a salary of $250-300 per week.
