Campership Application
The Camp Perkins Campership Fund exists to help youth, adults, and families participate in camp or retreat programs who might otherwise be unable to attend due to financial need. Through the generosity of donors, congregations, and camp supporters, we are able to partner with families to make the camp experience possible.
Many campers attend Camp Perkins each year because another family chose to contribute to the campership fund. If you are able, please consider adding a gift to help the next camper experience camp.

Partnership with Families and Congregations
Camperships are designed to be a partnership between families, congregations, and Camp Perkins. When applying, families are encouraged to consider:
- What their family is able to contribute toward the cost of camp
- Whether their home congregation offers camp scholarships or youth support
- Many churches provide financial assistance for youth attending camp, and families are encouraged to explore this opportunity. Camp Perkins campership funds may then help cover the remaining cost.
Summer Camp Financial Aid Priority
For summer youth programs:
- Applications received by May 15 will receive priority consideration.
- Requests received after this date will be reviewed as funds remain available.
Program Costs Covered by Camperships
Campership assistance applies to base Youth camp program fees only. Campership funds do not cover additional costs for specialty or contract adventure costs, including:
- Horseback Riding Activity Add-on
- Whitewater Rafting Activity Add-on
- Sailing Camp
- Ridges Backpacking
- Other optional add-on activities

- Complete a separate campership application for each participant and each camp session (family retreats may submit one application per family).
- Whenever possible, participants should register and submit a deposit before a campership request is reviewed.
- If knowing the campership amount first is important before registering, you are welcome to submit the application in advance. Our office will follow up with you regarding the amount of assistance available. We do not want uncertainty about financial aid to prevent someone from attending camp.
- Applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the program start date.
- Applications for summer programs received by May 15th will receive priority.
