Please help us welcome our newest full-time staff members. Brett and Eileen Lindemood will be serving as the Program Ministry Team in the roles of Program Director and Guest Services Director.
Brett and Eileen met at Camp Perkins as counselors in the late 90s and were married at camp 2000. Camp has been an integral part of their lives since then through volunteering, participating in fall and winter retreats, chaperoning youth at retreats, and bringing their own children, Jonah and Georgia, to summer camps. Their life-long connection to Camp Perkins and 20 years of ministry experience make them ideal to join our ministry team.
Though joining our staff as a team, Brett and Eileen have developed significant skills as individuals that will be an incredible compliment to one another.
Eileen has been a teacher for 21 years, 12 years in Lutheran Ed and 10 years in public schools in Boise. Eileen is a kind and generous leader who gives support and encouragement to those around her in an easy and light manner. Her experience in developing curriculum and organizing accreditation processes, running the English Department, managing a classroom, caring for students needs in and out of the classroom, and encouraging parents provides her with unique and needed skills to organize our operations and care for the guests and staff as the Guest Services Director.
Brett was born and raised in Boise and grew up loving every part of Idaho and Camp Perkins. By the grace of God, Brett works with youth and families to help ensure a deeper faith life rooted in God’s Word. He has served as a Director of Christian Education (DCE) for more than 18 years. In addition to traditional roles of a youth leader, Brett developed and ran a successful on-site summer camp program at the churches he served in Phoenix and Boise. His experience in mentoring and managing staff, as well as developing curriculum and providing relevant programs to youth and families bring a level of experience and ministry impact you can look forward to experiencing.
Most of all, Brett and Eileen love the Lord and desire to share Christ’s love with and encourage the faith of those they encounter at Camp Perkins. We look forward to Brett beginning to serve in March and Eileen will join the staff in June of 2022.
