You did it! Praise God!

GIFT TRACKER:
Challenge Gifts: $ 65,000
Match Gift Received: $ 65,000
Community Raised Toward Triple Challenge: $ 77,000
Total raised to date for True Cost: $207,000
TRIPLE Goal: $195,000
The gap for 601 campers has been covered, including Leaders in Training and Servant Event participants. Anything received above this will continue to cover the gap for Family Camp events!
Campaign Close Date: October 15
The purpose of the True Cost of Camp Challenge is to help cover the gap between what we charge for a week of camp and what it actually costs to run camp for the summer.
In May and June, a group of families pledged $65,000 as a Matching Challenge for the True Cost of Camp. This was a 1:1 match to give you the amazing opportunity to double your giving.
In September, a single family sent $65,000 to meet that challenge! Wow!
AND, the camp community has also given generously toward meeting the challenge, which is on the way to TRIPLE the value!
So...we are challenging our camp community to keep going - and TRIPLE the match amount to cover the True Cost of Camp for ALL 601 campers this summer.
Originally, the plan was to raise $130,000, including the challenge gifts, to cover the gap for 433 campers. Now, we have the opportunity to TRIPLE the original value by raising $195,000 to cover the gap between charges and expenses for ALL 601 campers, including the Leaders in Training and Servant Event participants, plus some of the gap for Family Camp expenses as well!
This means your funds will go even further to help Camp Perkins share the love and grace of Jesus!
We are extending the deadline until October 15 to raise the final amount to TRIPLE this challenge match!

More about the costs of camp
We estimated the gap between the price we charge for camp and the actual cost to be about $300 per camper.
Costs include summer staff salaries, food for campers and staff, supplies, and many other things that go into creating a fantastic week for youth of outdoor adventure, spiritual growth, and Christian community.
The purpose of all expenses for summer camp is to share the love, grace, and peace of Christ with young people!
