Summer Head Cook
Do you love serving delicious and nutritious food? Making sure the campers and staff have full bellies so they can play in the outdoors and praise the Lord all day? Then come serve this summer at Camp Perkins! We are looking for people to utilize their unique talents and interests to serve the Lord at camp.
Head Cooks work under the direction of the Director of Food Service and are responsible for overseeing the operations of the kitchen during a shift. Duties include preparing and serving meals and cleaning up after meals. Assistants work under the supervision of the head cooks and are responsible for much of the same. Both positions are hourly and can be seasonal or year round.

- Dates: May 15 – August 16 (start and end date are negotiable)
- Lakeside mountain setting and a friendly, Christian work environment!
- The position involves planning, preparing, cooking and serving nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules typically from Sunday dinner through Friday lunch.
- Additionally, the Head Cook ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances; maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.
- The summer position also includes training and supervising a staff of about 4 high school or college age workers and preparing meals for 125+ staff and campers.
- Salary is based upon experience and room & board is included during times required to be on-site.

Assistant Cook
Work alongside our head cook and manage the kitchen when the Head Cook is off.
Weekend Cook
We are seeking individuals that could serve as Weekend Cooks throughout the summer to give our full time cook the weekend off. The Weekend Cook will step in and cook for rental groups and Camp events over the weekend. Though the number of meals varies, it is typically Saturday breakfast through Sunday Brunch. Occasionally, we also provide Friday dinner. Our Food Service Director will provide the menu and prep list. Camp staff available to assist in serving meals, as well as cleaning up after meals. On-site training will also be provided so you can serve nutritional meals and snacks to the guests.
