SnowSchool
Camp Perkins' SnowSchool is an unforgettable winter outdoor education experience that combines real science with hands-on learning. Bundled up and fitted with snowshoes, the students venture out into the Sawtooth Mountains around Camp Perkins to discover the amazing environment the exists in winter.
Camp Perkins is a completely unique experience. After riding in our snow van to get into camp, the students will learn about the snowpack, the water cycle, and animal adaptations for winter. They will have a chance to go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tubing, go down the luge, check out our igloo, and enjoy hot chocolate in our Retreat Center.
